First opened at 10th and Main as a 7-seat diner, quickly becoming a favorite among locals and miners.
Moved to current location at 1719 Main Street, expanding to 23 seats to serve more customers.
Red Wilcoxson bought half of the diner, becoming Fred's partner and giving the restaurant its iconic name.
Red's son Larry Wilcoxson took over, carrying on the family tradition and secret recipes.
